Świeradów-Zdrój is a charming spa town on the edge of the Jizera Mountains, famous for its pump room with healing waters and the stylish Spa Hall in the Spa House. It's also a great base for excursions – the modern 8-person gondola lift to Stóg Izerski provides panoramic views of beautiful hiking, biking, or skiing trails. In summer, visit the Ścieżka w Chmurach (Closed Path) – a 62-meter-high Sky Walk tower with 850-meter-long footbridges, featuring a 105-meter slide for the brave! Numerous trails are available nearby – to Stóg, Smrek, and Wysoki Kamień, as well as over 200 km of Single Track cycling routes for cycling enthusiasts. For those seeking peace and quiet and wildlife, the Jizera Dark Sky Park offers nighttime astronomy workshops in the surrounding reserves. The Kwisa Waterfall is also worth seeing – picturesque, easily accessible, and perfect for hot weather. Also worth visiting are the Izerskie Torfowiska and Krokusy nature reserves in Górzyniec, as well as historic mountain huts – Chatka Górzystów on Hala Izerska and the PTTK (Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society) on Stóg Izerski. For families, there's a playground, a ropes course, and a promenade with a frog fountain and cozy cafes in the town.
